Our Ostrich Feathers come from ostriches bred on selected farmsin South Africa, which follow highest applicable animal welfare standards. Birds are raised for human consumption and the feathers are extracted after slaughter in abattoirs certified under the European standard EC 1099/2009. Once extracted, the feathers are selected, sterilizedand dyed.Fringes are afterwards handmade.
